  • The phone-intake is approximately 10-15 minutes long. During this time we will explore if Creative Harmony Clinical Services is the appropriate level of care to help you reach your goals. During this phone call, if we decide to move forward scheduling an initial assessment, we will gather all demographic and insurance/payment information, as well as set up the date for the initial assessment session.

  • Individual, couples and family therapy sessions are approximately 50 minutes. However, they can fluctuate from 40-50 minutes depending on what is being worked on in session.

    EMDR, Clinical and Pastoral/Ministry consultation sessions are approximately 60 minutes.

  • Yes. Creative Harmony Clinical Services is paneled with most major health insurances. We are in-network with Medicaid (Husky), Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, Tricare and United Healthcare.

  • At Creative Harmony, we aim to eliminate barriers to mental health care, with a focus on addressing financial challenges. Choose counseling services with one of our compassionate graduate-level interns if you find yourself without mental health coverage, grappling with insurance deductibles/co-pays, or simply prioritizing your privacy by not utilizing insurance.

    Our interns are enrolled students at Southern Connecticut State University. In the culmination of their graduate counseling programs, they bring a wealth of dedication and fresh perspectives to each session. Rest assured, our MFT Interns are continually supported by a compassionate Creative Harmony Clinical Supervisor and esteemed university professors.

    Additionally, we do offer an income based reduced fee for those clients who are not eligible for insurance and are having difficulty covering the cost of therapy. Our availability for reduced fee appointments is limited and are considered on a case to case basis. This reduced fee is not a permanent arrangement and will be revisited throughout treatment engagement.

  • Both. Creative Harmony Clinical Services offers in-person and telehealth appointments. Telehealth appointments are discussed and agreed upon by client and therapist on a case to case basis. Please note that not all insurances cover telehealth services. All telehealth services are provided virtually through a HIPAA compliant web based platform.  Additionally, telehealth option is not available for couples, family or EMDR therapy sessions.

  • Creative Harmony Clinical Services has a HIPAA compliant communication platform set up through its electronic health record Simple Practice. Through Simple Practice’s client portal you are able to send and receive messages to your therapist. You can download the Simple Practice app through your device’s app store. Please note this platform is not intended to manage emergency crisis. If you are experiencing an emergency please call 9-1-1 or 2-1-1 services.

  • Creative Harmony Clinical Services will charge a $50 fee to the credit card on file if notice of cancelation or request to reschedule is received in less than 24 hours from the time of your scheduled appointment. Understand that your therapist spends a significant amount of time outside of the therapy room planning the best treatment interventions for you, researching information relative to your case, and separating the allocated time specifically for you.
